Casa Esperanza provides appropriate housing and emotional support for patients and their families who reside temporarily in Albuquerque while the patient receives medical treatment. Casa Esperanza’s families come to us from all backgrounds and income levels, but they share one thing in common – each family is facing fear and emotional upheaval.
Inside Casa Esperanza
Casa Esperanza, an 18,000 square foot residence, can accommodate 28 families at a time, for both long and short-term stays. These units have the following amenities:
- Twelve private fully furnished suites with family living space separate from sleeping areas and 16 rooms (4 fully handicap-accessible)
- Each of the 28 family units has a private bathroom, phone with voice mail, television, and mini-refrigerator.
- Four shared fully-equipped kitchens within the common area with refrigerators
- A beautiful common dining area
- Laundry facilities
Outside Casa Esperanza
Casa Esperanza has beautiful outdoor spaces for family barbeques, a play area for kids, or just relaxing and enjoying a great book. Complimented by a pergola, art sculptures, a soothing water fountain, and lots of vegetation our outdoor area allows our guests to enjoy this amazing space. Our courtyard allows for easy access to the UNM walking trails so you can enjoy an evening stroll with your loved ones.
